Ingredients (2 persons' portion)

1 fillet tuna
pinch of salt and pepper
flour
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
sauce (2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sake, 1 tablespoon mirin sweet cooking sake, 1/4 teaspoon grated garlic)
garnish (2 pieces of mioga, red miso to taste, white sesame to taste)
  1. Slice the tuna fillet into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper, lightly coat with flour, and skewer them.
  2. Heat the sesame and vegetable oils in a fry pan. Place the tuna in the pan, and fry until browned. Flip over and continue to fry. When cooked through, place on a dish.
  3. Put the sauce ingredients in the pan, and bring to a boil. Put the tuna prepared in 【2】, and coat with the sauce thoroughly.
  4. For garnish, cut vertically the two pieces of mioga into halves. Coat with the red miso and sprinkle on the white sesame. Bake in an oven toaster.
